Diane and her family moved from Burlington to Wasaga Beach in 2001 to enjoy the finest recreational lifestyle that this area has to offer and improved quality of life. Diane graduated from Sutherland-Chan Massage School and Teaching Clinic in 1996 and had the pleasure of owning her own business in Brampton before her move up north. It was during this time that Diane was able to learn special massage techniques that can be used for women during labor and delivery. Diane has had the experience of being present for five baby deliveries where she assisted her patients by providing support and pain relief through massage therapy. Diane has previously taught courses on introduction to massage, pregnancy and infant massage, massage during labor and delivery and techniques for on-site massage. Diane was also an assistant supervisor for the Fibromyalgia Clinic at the Canadian Therapeutic College, as well as a hydrotherapy examiner. Diane's special interest is treating chronic headache/migraine sufferers. Diane knows firsthand how debilitating headaches can be and how effective massage therapy can be as a form of treatment.
Diane believes that relaxation is the key to every massage. Therefore, one of the most important components of massage therapy is communication between the patient and the therapist. Massage therapy is an instrument which helps one hear what the body has to say and brings well being to our lives on a regular basis. Diane looks forward to assisting you in this process.
